Artemis manufactures stators and rotors for progressive cavity pumps used in the food industry. In many areas, these handle the pumping of sensitive and pasty media, which are also subject to the strictest hygiene and safety requirements. Because we use stainless steel for our stator tubes and rotors, our components meet international guidelines — such as FDA — for the production of hygienically safe foodstuffs. Our food-grade rubber compounds are tested and confirmed by external testing laboratories.
Our stators and rotors also enable long equipment life and availability, so food producers can avoid breakdowns that would often lead to the spoilage of high volumes of product.
Our stators and rotors convey, for example:
Environmental protection is one of the most important topics of the JÄGER Group, which is why we at Artemis have also developed products that help to preserve our habitats. Wastewater treatment — especially of municipal and industrial wastewater — has a central role to play here. This is the only way we can ensure optimum water quality and also meet the growing demand for drinking water.
For this reason, stators and rotors from Artemis in eccentric screw pumps of various sizes perform various tasks in wastewater treatment plants. For example, the pumping of accumulating sludge as well as the precise dosing of cleaning aids such as flocculants are classic tasks of a progressive cavity pump.
Your Artemis advantages:
In the automotive and electronics industries, ever-smaller components must be bonded or poured without dripping. Artemis stators and rotors are used in progressive cavity pumps that convey and meter various media in the automated manufacturing process of vehicles and electronic components.
Application of our metering technology products:
In the agricultural technology sector, Artemis stators and rotors find applications in biogas, slurry and feeding technology.
Biogas plants and slurry technology
Especially in modern biogas plants, progressive cavity pumps are characterized by good pumping behavior and a long service life compared to other pump technologies.
In the field of slurry technology and biogas plants, our stators made of wear-optimized compounds and our rotors withstand stresses caused by foreign bodies (such as stones, sand, soil, metallic objects) and abrasive components of the constantly changing media composition, such as silage and food waste.
Feeding technology
Liquid feeding systems are generally used in modern barn technology. Consistent pumping rates of progressive cavity pumps are a basic requirement for uniform feed distribution to the animals throughout the barn.
While paper used to be precious and was considered white gold due to its white filler and coating material kaolin, today paper is available for many uses thanks to modern mass production. What has remained, however, is the demanding and highly precise production of paper and pulp.
Highly sophisticated machines are required for paper production to guarantee consistent qualities. Since paper is subject to the highest quality standards, each pump in a paper mill must be precisely adapted to the type of media being conveyed — such as kaolin or pulp — in order to achieve a high-quality end product.
All production steps in modern papermaking require the use of progressive cavity pumps. Artemis stators and rotors for the pulp and paper industry ensure maximum accuracy in the conveying unit. They convey viscosities from medium to high with sometimes friable consistency. Benefit from our wide product range from small metering pumps to the largest sizes that can be manufactured.
Advantages of our stators and rotors for the pulp and paper industry:
In the chemical industry, progressive cavity pumps perform a wide range of conveying and metering tasks for which the right choice of material is particularly important in terms of material resistance. Among other things, our stators can convey media with very high as well as very low PH values and solvents.
Our development team therefore supports our customers in the selection of the optimum rubber material right from the inquiry stage, in order to be able to guarantee them a long service life of the products in their specific field of application.
Rotors and stators must meet the highest quality requirements in this area, as plant failures are not only cost-intensive, but may also entail further hazards.
Artemis has many years of experience in the design and production of stators and rotors for oil production and also for downstream processing. Progressive cavity pumps are successfully used for petroleum production. So-called down-hole pumps are characterized by high efficiency compared to traditional production equipment, because they score with their easy installation and maintenance, good controllability and high efficiency under difficult production conditions.
The service life and function of the downhole pump depends to a large extent on the right combination of stator and rotor. This is because downtime due to premature failure of the pumping elements would trigger high costs.
The solution is simple: Artemis has developed special materials for stators for downhole pumps — they are highly abrasion-resistant and have a long service life, even when carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide are present in the pumped medium.
Specially developed (optical) measuring methods guarantee compliance with functional dimensions over the complete product length. Our goal is nothing less than achieving maximum product service life.
